Hi Andrew,
Well itÕs been just under 2 years since I placed my ad Ð on a day when the sun was shining and hope was strong. In the 6 months the ad ran I must have had over 400 replies. That in itself exceeded my expectations! However, as a direct result of my ad and your site I have met the man of my dreams.

We corresponded for about a month, then took a deep breath and decided the time right to meet. To say it was Òlove at first sightÓ sounds corny and trite. Heck, I think the seeds were sown with stimulating conversation, a shared sense of humour, and similar aspirations for the way our lives could be. But one look at each other as we shyly approached one another, was all it took for the rest to fall into place.Ê

16 months later we have bought a house together, and are planning on getting married next year. This wasnÕt a case of Òdance of the desperateÕsÓ. We are two professional, mature and slightly cynical adults for whom the pub and club scene was no longer relevant. Your site however, provided a safe way to put ourselves out there, and allowed us to open ourselves to meeting someone who could add to our lives. ÊAnd for us, the risk was worth it Ð we found happiness, love, lots of laughter, and a shared adventure or two.Ê

To anyone who is hesitant or wondering if this is the right thing to do ... IÕd say give it a go! You risk nothing, but stand to find friendship / companionship / love Ð or at the very least some entertaining mail in your mail box when you get home at night!

Thank you for making this service available Ð my life would be the poorer for not having found a way to connect with someone who is all IÕve ever dreamed about. Our life together is happier than either of us could have imagined it being.Ê

Been a while since I have sent you a note.

Since I am writing to you anyway, I will take this opportunity to feed back to you my satisfaction with your site and your service (That term, 'service', sounds corny and seedy but I am not sure what term fits better.) After I placed an ad last August/Sept and recieved lots of responses, I remained in contact with three different individuals - two from the South Island and one from the North. I have met and am still in contact with all three as I can honestly say that each of them has become a good friend ... friends that I hope to know for a long time. With one of them, I have entered into a relationship. I find I share a wonderful sychronicity with this last man and I am clear that I simply would not have met him except for the advent of the internet and of your service.

I have recommended your site to quite a number of people and I find that there is huge interest in the idea. I hope that you are noticing your site's hits increasing due to my friends seeking it out. In particular, I think your site is great because of the confidentiality and safety, the low cost and the fact that people can and do really express themselves much more fully than they can in newspaper ads (for instance). I think it is a 90's way to meet people. It's really fun and I am very happy with the success I have had in finding, not one, but THREE fantastic friends one of which I think has the potential to become my life partner. I certainly didn't expect that but that is what I have found.

Keep it up, Andrew. I hope you are recieving decent financial or other rewards from running this site.

Hi Andrew, thanks for having this site... through you, I have met a lovely man.... well via email only so far. He is coming out from England later this month to visit.... our feelings for each other are based on our minds, and have become so strong for each other, that if all goes well, we are looking forward to an eventual future together.
